The Marine Resource Council (MRC) has announced the search for an Executive Director to lead the organization’s efforts to conserve and preserve the Indian River Lagoon, FL, ecosystem.  Established over 30 years ago, MRC was created by a group of Florida Tech professors as a membership organization practicing citizen science and community outreach.  Its mission is to improve water quality and to protect and restore the fish and wildlife resources of the Indian River Lagoon, coastal waters, inshore reefs, and the watershed by advocating and using sound science, education, and the involvement of the public at large.

The Executive Director will lead/manage a staff that includes three others, including a Director of Development, a Community Environmental Educator, and a Lagoon Watch Coordinator, and will report to a volunteer board of 17 members. Meals by Grace, a dynamic non-profit organization focused on bringing food, hope and transformation to children and families in need, is seeking a Director of Development – Annual Campaign (DOD). The successful candidate will set and achieve fundraising goals, plan, and implement a development program to provide for the annual fundraising needs of the organization.  The DOD will report to and partner with the Chief Development Officer of the organization.

Meals by Grace is headquartered in Cumming, GA where it operates a food pantry and food delivery program to thousands of families in the northeastern suburbs of metropolitan Atlanta.  Their mission is to bring food, hope & transformation to children and families in need, with resources from our community, so that children can go to bed happy, not hungry.
