Columns Fundraising is pleased to announce that Toni Dixon has joined our firm as a senior consultant.

Toni is a multi-tasking nonprofit development consultant and gifted storyteller with an entrepreneurial spirit. With 15 years of experience in development and grant writing, Toni has a track record of exceeding annual revenue goals and leading teams to success.

Toni has a strong background in nonprofit management and business development. She offers coaching to nonprofit leaders, board members, and new development officers. She teaches courses to empower people to start and grow nonprofit organizations.

Toni’s expertise extends to various sectors, including managing public relations campaigns, marketing, and brand strategies. She is a certified graphic designer and an experienced grant writer. Her formal training in planned giving, capital campaigns, fundraising, and leadership has equipped her with the knowledge and skills to drive impactful initiatives.

Toni is a 2004 alumna of Spelman College and earned an MBA from Walden University with a focus on Entrepreneurship.  She is currently completing a Ph.D. in Business Administration with a concentration in Computer Information Systems.

She brings a strong academic foundation to her practical experience. Toni has served as Director of Foundations, Corporate Relations, and a Senior Development Officer at Atlanta Mission, where she raised funds and led major initiatives. She developed a new Corporate Engagement Program at Atlanta Mission and received the Employee of the Year award in 2015 for her outstanding contributions.
